The Challenge

Fluid Branding is a leading promotional merchandise supplier, with offices across the UK and Europe. The award winning company provide branded promotional products, creative and fully managed online merchandise solutions to companies such as BMW, Aviva and Heineken. Having opened a new office in Ireland, Fluid needed to ensure it generated quick sales and develop a good customer base in an area where they had no brand awareness.

The Approach

Launch Online has been working with Fluid Branding in the UK and Europe for over two years. Thanks to their existing knowledge of Fluid, Launch was able to immediately drive enquiries and sales through Google AdWords and Bing Ads thanks to its understanding of the business’ target audiences. They overlaid this work with the latest strategies, including using Remarketing Lists for Search Ads, Ad testing, advanced audience Bid Strategies and utilised all the appropriate Extensions to ensure the core USPs were communicated in the search results. Launch also used Enhanced Cost Per Click on the Shopping campaigns.

The Results

In the first 12 months Launch Online had increased paid traffic to the firm’s Ireland website by 205%, with enquiries growing 398% over the same period – the conversion rate also increased by 105%.

Most significantly, Launch delivered 1,363 conversions as a result of paid search campaigns. Online sales leads came overwhelmingly through Google, meaning that the Dublin office now have the budget to expand the strategy into brand building campaigns in Google Display and YouTube which will be rolled out in the coming months to further build on this success. Committed to best practices in account management, Launch Online are aware that the conversion comes at the end of a search journey which often involves multiple visits and devices for a single user. We therefore used a multi-channel data approach to attributing success to these campaigns, making optimisation and reporting more accurate and meaningful.
