Users must express their consent explicitly

Opt-out

Users should be able to opt-out of non-essential cookies for the duration of their time on the website

Freedom to change

A user should be able to change their cookie preferences at any time and your GTM must react to this change

Grouped by purpose

Cookies should be grouped by purpose, and a user should be given the choice to opt-in and opt-out by category

No prevention

If a user opts-out of non-essential cookies, they should not be prevented from browsing the website altogether

Which Cookie Banner?

Our recommendation is to use a third-party subscription with an established provider.

One option is OneTrust with its sub-brand CookiePro but the costs have been increasing over recent years so our current partner of choice is CookieYes.

You can find a list of cookie management platforms which have been certified by Google here . Launch can work with any of them.
