Senior Measurement Analyst

What it takes to be a Senior Measurement Analyst at Launch

Reporting to the Head of Data & Analytics, you will support the Analytics department deliver marketing measurement, website analytics, attribution, data hygiene, cookie compliance, reporting and data visualisation. You will be a pivotal part of the department and deliver thought leadership and help define the product/service development of our Analytics offering.

Key tasks and responsibilities

  • Work with paid media teams, technology teams, clients and third party vendors to build the best possible measurement solutions
  • Build measurement frameworks across channel and campaign attribution and incrementality testing
  • Work as part of a team to deliver this service to our clients profitably and to the same award winning standards as our paid media team
  • Create baselines to help understand our paid media effectiveness
  • Work with the team to empower them to identify performance of paid media and conversions
  • Be commercially sound to ensure projects are being delivered on time within budget
  • Help with the design and build visual tools to convert complex data into visually digestible information to empower our paid media team
  • Contribute to the Launch approach to Marketing Mix Modelling and Attribution
  • Effectively deliver projects for the department, with a coaching mindset to empower the whole team to produce their best work
  • Help create the Launch way for effective measurement of paid media and website traffic
  • Be on hand to help diagnose any issues across tracking and measurement
  • Ensure our clients have excellent data hygiene, understanding cookies and cookie compliance
  • Set up and maintain Google Tag Manager to a high standard, followed by coaching and resource management.
  • Help coach with the training and the transition of UA to GA4 for the agency and clients
  • Identify opportunities to improve and build on our clients’ data with advanced insights to deliver award winning case studies for our “first class” clients
  • Staying up to date and becoming a thought leader across cookie compliance, measurement of marketing campaigns, analytics and reporting

Essential skills

  • 2 years previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job
  • Quantitative data analysis skills but a true passion for measurement and the relevant data information that it can provide
  • Exceptionally strong analytical skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Analytics (UA & GA4), Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, marketing data collection, conversion tracking with Google Ads, Meta and others
  • Proficiency or ability to learn query languages such as SQL and experience of Big Query, Tableau, Power Bi
  • Expertise in online and offline media with experience working directly with clients to deliver digital marketing powered by data
  • Deep understanding of organising data across multiple data platforms
  • Able to deliver complex analytics implementations in a timely manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident at presenting to key stakeholders and large groups of people
  • Strong understanding of data compliance regulations
  • Self-awareness and desire to grow through personal and professional development
