What it takes to be an Measurement Analyst at Launch

Reporting to the Head of Data and Analytics, you will support the Analytics department deliver marketing measurement, website analytics, attribution, data hygiene, cookie compliance, reporting and data visualisation.

Key tasks and responsibilities

  • Work with the measurement team, paid media teams, and 3rd party vendors to assist in building the best possible measurement solutions.
  • Learn how to set up measurement across channel and campaign attribution and incrementality testing
  • Work as part of a team to deliver this service to our clients profitably and to the same award winning standards as our paid media team
  • Grow in confidence to Analyse data sets to report on our paid media effectiveness.
  • Work with the measurement team to help empower the wider agency to identify recommendations for performance for our clients.
  • Help deliver effective measurement of paid media and website traffic.
  • Ensure our clients have excellent data hygiene to enable paid media automation to be effective, working collaboratively with the paid media team to deliver this
  • Help set up and maintain Google Tag Manager for clients to enable paid media to be tracked across Google, Microsoft, Meta and other advertising channels
  • Help deliver the transition of UA to GA4 for the agency and clients
  • Identify opportunities to improve and build on our clients’ data with advanced insights to deliver award winning case studies for our “first class” clients
  • Staying up to date and becoming a thought leader across cookie compliance, measurement of marketing campaigns, analytics & reporting
  • Be part of a team which creates opportunities for IP tech solutions that Launch fund through R&D

Essential skills

  • Previous experience that can help you grow the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job. (Experience in Paid, Organic or Social Media marketing)
  • A true passion for measurement and the relevant data information that it can provide.
  • Exceptionally strong analytical skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics (UA & GA4), Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, marketing data collection, conversion tracking with Google Ads, Meta and others.
  • Ability to learn query languages such as SQL and experience of Big Query, Tableau, Power Bi is desirable.
  • Understanding of organizing data across multiple data platforms
  • Able to work with a team to deliver complex analytics implementations in a timely manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Desire to become confident at presenting to key stakeholders and large groups of people
  • Understanding of data compliance regulations
  • Self-awareness & desire to grow through personal and professional development

Salary: £22,000 – £30,000 dependent on experience. Part time also considered.
