Today, as part of the Grow Local campaign, I hosted a Google Partner event at their offices in Central St Giles, London. The event was aimed at Small and Medium Enterprises who are looking to find out more about increasing their online presence and in particular Google AdWords. With one week’s notice, I was able to gather a super group of businesses together including a couple of clothing brands, a luxury travel company, a Caribbean hotel chain, an educational resource company and a global PR agency to name just a few.

Google are investing in their network of accredited Google Partner agencies across the UK, there are just over 700 in all and Launch Online is delighted to be a badged agency. It gives us resources including a direct point of contact at Google, promotions for our clients such as £150 free credit coupons, access to product betas and much more. In order to become a Google Partner, you are required to sit a number of difficult exams, manage accounts to a high standard and register all your details. This ensures that Google feels confident at recommending badged Google Partner agencies to their clients.

Google, as always, put on a great spread and after the presentations, we all got a chance to have a natter and network with other SME’s. Launch Online was one of only a few agencies to come to Google offices in Central St Giles, London to host an event and we were delighted with how well it went.
