Mobile Madness

Google have launched a month of #MobileMadness to help businesses prepare for a big ranking change coming on 21 April that affects websites that aren’t mobile friendly.

This handy guide from Google has a useful testing tool to see how well your website does on a mobile device, giving hints and tips on how to improve it.

Every Thursday they are running live presentations for SMBs, drop-in office hours, a Q&A session for all your questions about this ranking change, and weekly tips and resources.

For the full schedule and to sign up to the hangouts visit the Google Webmasters page on Google+ https://plus.google.com/+GoogleWebmasters/posts/.

Mobile traffic makes up more than 30% of most of my clients’ web traffic, in the travel industry even more, so don’t annoy more than a third of your customers – make sure your website is mobile friendly!
