What it takes to be a Paid Media Executive at Launch
If you’re looking for a diverse role with room for growth, this could be right up your alley. As an entry-level position, you won’t be expected to know it all already. It’s more important that you demonstrate a real enthusiasm for paid media and a willingness to learn.
You’ll be managed by an Account Manager or Account Director with a huge amount of experience – so you get the opportunity to learn from some of the best! They’ll show you how to develop a paid advertising strategy, craft profitable campaigns and create in-depth reports for our clients.

Key tasks and responsibilities
Setup, management and optimisation of paid media campaigns
Developing client ad strategy
Analysing and reporting on campaign data and delivering this to the client
Building positive client relationships via phone, email and meetings
Reporting against forecasts and strategy based on client needs
Campaign strategy and execution
Auditing accounts confidently
Analysing Google Analytics for data insights
Maintaining knowledge through Google Ads/Analytics exams
Staying up to date with the latest in digital marketing
Contributing to thought leadership through blog writing, webinars, and events
Campaign-building tasks
Keyword research
Ad copy writing
Audience building
Campaign experiments and testing
Shopping feed optimisation
Conversion tracking
Essential skills
At least 1 year of experience in digital marketing campaign management
Have passed the following exams: Google Ads Search Fundamentals, Google Ads, Display, Google Ads Video, Shopping Ads and Google Analytics for Beginners
Knowledge and experience in running campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Facebook Ads Manager
A strong understanding of bid/budget management and how changes affect performance
Comfortable using Google Ads Editor
Previous experience working within an agency or client team environment
An understanding of wider marketing principles: understanding user journeys and how to influence them through paid campaigns, implementing effective marketing messaging at all stages of the funnel.
A strong understanding of attribution models and the ability to guide clients on what works best for them as a business.
